Amor Fati Candle, Red

The Stoics of ancient Greece did not believe in free will and coined the term "Amor Fati", to remind people that the highest virtue is learning to live in harmony with "divine reason". To them, our destinies were determined by the Cosmos and the best way to cultivate peace was to see everything that happens in one's life, including suffering and loss, as good or, at the very least, necessary. Their teaching helps people to find love and acceptance of life's multiple struggles. It's a worthy philosophy to explore, but harder to implement.
